Akasha is a turn based strategy game where teams of elemental wizards use terrain altering abilities to defeat their opponents in a variety of game modes such as capture the flag, domination, and death match.
As a technical designer I created a custom hex based level editor and implemented the pipeline for adding maps to the game. I also created a data tracking system that fed into a central playtest database. This database filtered and displayed all collected playtest data using D3 javascript. As a system designer I prototyped and iterated the core mechanics then balanced four archetypal characters in a spreadsheet.
Alberio

Alberio is a 3rd person survival shooter where you take the role of Radial, a security guard working on a remote research station at the edge of the solar system. After losing power, the station becomes infested with a dangerous alien contaminant. Radial must repair the power grid if she is to have any hope of escaping the doomed space station.
As a technical designer I implemented 51 different gameplay related blueprints while facilitating communication between designers, artists, and programmers. I also created and documented 25 different custom content tools to automate the art and design pipelines. As a system designer I balanced three different weapon types and created spreadsheets to track the amount of ammo and enemies on a given level.
Soulcaster

Soulcaster is a 2D puzzle platformer in which you must use a soul projection artifact to escape a mysterious Meso-American temple. In order to avoid being entombed within the temple forever, the player must utilize their abilities in new and unique ways to bypass the temple's evolving obstacles.
As a technical designer I prototyped out 18 different puzzle mechanics in Unity while the custom engine was being developed. I also communicated tech and design needs between designers and programmers. Once the custom engine was built I collaborated with our tech team to test and improve our content pipelines. As a producer I managed the team project schedule and held weekly team meetings.
Ninja Raid
Technical Designer

Ninja Raid is a 2D stealth platformer where you must carefully take out robotic guards in order to steal a set of valuable gems from a maximum security facility.
I created all the assets and code for Ninja Raid save for the sound effects. I created a character controller which utilizes a double jump attack and has simple squash and stretch animations. I also wrote a script to give enemies a view radius then used 2D lighting to visualize it for the player.
